Founded by Jaylen Gilmore, this brand is a heartfelt reflection of her journey, artistry, and dedication. Inspired by the love and support of her family, Jaylen pours her passion into every piece she creates.

Jaylen has always had a passion for creating a trait evident from a young age. In high school, she crafted a 7-foot alligator out of papier-mâché and chicken wire, showcasing her creativity and love for hands-on projects. Over the years, she continued to explore different forms of art, dabbling in lampwork and glass blowing, which further fueled her desire to create unique, handmade pieces.

Coming from a long line of creators, Jaylen’s roots are deeply embedded in craftsmanship. Her father was a talented woodworker, and her mother expressed her artistry through painting and quilting. Together, they instilled in her the values of hard work, creativity, and a passion for making. Her grandparents were not only incredible business owners but also creators in their own right, setting an example of both entrepreneurial spirit and creativity that continue to influence her work today.

As a mother of three, family remains at the core of everything Jaylen does. Alongside running Stone and Silver, she is a full-time commercial banker. She is also the Founder of Fem Allies in Business (FAB), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women to grow, break barriers, and thrive both professionally and personally.

Stone and Silver embody Jaylen’s journey, blending her love for creativity with the values passed down through generations. Each piece is handcrafted with passion, care, and attention to detail, resulting in unique artisan jewelry that speaks to the soul.
